Geelong, Australia
Born
Born to an Australian mum (Christian) and Egyptian immigrant dad (Muslim). My mum is the most outgoing and social saleswoman and my dad a sharp, methodical and analytical engineer, traits I took from both.

I host Healthy, Wealthy & Wise Podcast, run Metwally Media, built a podcast studio in Chelsea, NYC, invest in early companies in health and wellness, and DJ for some fun on the weekends.
I am a small town boy who took a sharp right turn at 32, moved continents, and is building in a way that deeply aligns with my core values - one brick at a time.

Geelong, Australia
Born to an Australian mum (Christian) and Egyptian immigrant dad (Muslim). My mum is the most outgoing and social saleswoman and my dad a sharp, methodical and analytical engineer, traits I took from both.
Parents divorced. 8 years old, forced into a single parent, low-income household after a messy divorce.

Graduate high school in the top 9% of Australia, with a STEM focus. My uncle hands me two life changing books: The Richest Man in Babylon and Think and Grow Rich. I read them, save my first $5,000 and that sets the tone for everything to follow.
I was managing a late night event in Geelong while studying and the 5am DJ never showed, so I jumped on to cover. The rest was history.

Launched my first nightclub project, UNO DanceClub, with 3 friends. It quickly turned into one of the most popular house music nightclubs in the country, hosting DJs including Dom Dolla, Fisher, ANOTR and more.
Graduated university with a Civil Engineering & Business double degree with Honours, finished and never used. By 23 I’d saved $100,000 to buy my first house.
A festival style, multi-stage pop-up event at marquee beachside hotels in coastal Australia.

Co-founded Sundancer Thailand, a multi-day destination festival on beautiful Koh Phi Phi. I stayed involved until 2024 and the festival still runs to this day.
Coastal Jam scaled to 7 major shows, over 7,000 tickets sold, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit. I was earning 6x the median wage of my city.
A messy breakup completely rocked me, spiralling depression and anxiety that made me genuinely suicidal. It forced me inward to reflect and rebuild. I found yoga, deepened my meditation practice, went to therapy and learnt a lot about love and relationships.

Net worth of $1,000,000+ by 28 from business and investments.
Then COVID shut down the whole business and career overnight. Two years spent in lockdown: reading, reflecting and keeping my body and mind sharp.
Full marathon, run for the Fred Hollows Foundation.
Travelled for 4 months in Mexico and the US, invested in my first US project, Virgo, in NYC, then completed a ten day Vipassana. I left with a gut feeling that I needed to move to New York.
First podcast episode, launched as That One Time with a co-host. The same month I went sober, a month off the drink that never ended.

My co-host quit. I continued the podcast alone after a few months to re-align.
Invested in my second NYC hospitality project: Music For A While / Creatures rooftop.
Between 2023 and 2024, I lost $400,000 and nearly went bankrupt trying to scale events to bigger festival sites in Australia. A millionaire by 28, and I lost most of it just after 30.
New York City
I had 3 options: rebuild in Geelong, Melbourne, or take the leap overseas. I asked myself: “if I were to look back at this decision at 80, which one would I want to choose?” The answer was clear.
After a solo road trip from LA to NY, I landed in my Lower East Side sublease and started my new journey. That One Time ranked a top 5% video podcast on Spotify.

Invested in Vitadrop, an Australian hydration wellness company.
A week alone in a cabin upstate, a large dose of mushrooms, and about as clear an instruction as I have ever had. The podcast needs a name change and a rebrand. It’s time to go back to what it was always about. Being healthy, wealthy & wise.
Invested in Superpower, the fast growing AI powered blood testing startup.
Paused That One Time at over 150 episodes to rebrand, realign and relaunch under the new name: Healthy, Wealthy & Wise with Adam Metwally.
