This page explains what this site collects about you, why it is collected and what you can ask me to do with it. It is written in plain English on purpose.
Who I am
I am Adam Metwally. I run Metwally Group out of New York, and this site covers the podcast, Metwally Media, Metwally Podcast Studio, Metwally Music and Metwally Investments.
I am the person who decides what happens to the information this site collects. You can reach me through the protected contact form.
What I collect
Three things, and nothing else:
- From the newsletter forms: your email address, your first name and your city.
- From the enquiry forms, such as the studio and podcast forms: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and whatever you write in the message.
- From the server: standard web logs, which record the page you asked for, the time, your browser type and an IP address. Every website keeps these to stay online and to block abuse.
Why I collect it
The newsletter details let me send you the emails you asked for and tell you when something is happening in your city.
The enquiry details let me answer you, quote a session and confirm a booking.
The server logs let me keep the site running and see when something breaks.
Email marketing
Read this part before you hand over an email address. Any email address captured on this site may be used for email marketing communications for anything within the Metwally Group portfolio. That covers the podcast, Metwally Media, Metwally Podcast Studio, Metwally Music and Metwally Investments.
In plain terms: if you sign up for one thing, I may email you about another. Every email I send carries an unsubscribe link, one click ends it, and I will not email you again once you use it.
The platform I use
My email lists live in Audience Republic, the platform that stores the list and sends the campaigns. Your details sit there under my account and nobody outside my team touches them.
What I do not do
I do not sell your data. I do not rent it, trade it or hand it to a third party for their own marketing. The only companies that see it are the ones that run the site and the email list for me.
How long I keep it
I keep your details until you unsubscribe or until you ask me to remove them. Enquiry messages are kept while the job is live and for as long as I need them for my records.
Getting your data removed
Use the protected contact form to ask for a copy of what I hold, a correction or deletion. I will action it and write back to confirm.

Changes to this page
If what I collect changes, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
