How to Build an Acting Career, Moving From Ghana to Hollywood, And Acting Alongside Brad Pitt, Drake, and Rachel McAdams - Vic Brew

How do you build an acting career when you have no credits and everyone asks what you've been in? I sat down with Vic Brew, a Ghana-born actor in Los Angeles who left tech sales and, a week later, booked a role on Dave, where the cast list included Brad Pitt, Drake and Rachel McAdams.

Vic explains how years of hearing no in sales built his confidence, why he set up his Instagram like a LinkedIn page, and how a woman who found that page wrote a film role for him. We also cover how he learns a script, the day he shot three short films and only one worked, and why he turns down roles that clash with his Marvel dream.

His biggest TV role yet came from being kind to a publicist at an event, which is why he says networking is about building family.
