How do you start a business while you hold down a full-time job? I sat down with life purpose and business coach Erica Carrico, who built hers at night while raising two little kids and recovering from kidney cancer, and now runs a company that brings in $200,000 a month.

Erica shares the schedule she kept for that first year, the two numbers she hit before she quit (half her salary from the business and $20,000 in savings), and why she coached nine people for free before charging anyone.
