The conversation
Why does everyone remember the guy spending millions to reverse his age, even when they forget his name? I sat down with Kate Tolo, Chief Marketing Officer at Blueprint, who pitched Bryan Johnson the idea of turning his health data into a public science experiment.
Kate grew up in Mackay, Queensland, with Bosnian parents, and was helping lead a 70-person design team at The North Face at 21. We get into the years of unanswered messages before Bryan hired her, why she calls the algorithm a nightclub bouncer, how a nighttime erection score sells people on more sleep, and what the vocal fry comments after her Diary of a CEO interview taught her.
She also audits my podcast live, argues for treating every episode as a shorts machine, and walks me through her ideal day, from a weighted vest walk before 7am to a last meal by 3pm.
